26/10/26 Reactivated the Elementor Pro plugin to fix the problem that all the photos were missing from the Photo Gallery page. Lesson DO NOT UPDATE ELEMENTOR PRO plugin or MESS WITH THE ELEMENTOR licence.   25/10/2026 MAJOR TECHNICAL UPGRADE Reviewed all plugins. Updated, deactivated or deleted as needed. Identified RabbitLoader plugin as responsible for site crashes and deleted it. Upgraded to WordPress 7.1.3. Upgraded all sites via Hostinger to PHP version 8.5. Rechecked plugins and updated where necessary. 25/10/2026 Added Skittles night information and image to Home, Members Home and Social Events pages. 24/10/2026 Added 12 images for the monthly minutes and updated every minutes post with the image for that month. Changed the grid layout of the minutes page to two columns but with the latest minutes highlighted on the left.  Removed the cascading menu for the links to the minutes files. 23/10/2026 Changed the rules for displaying the LOGOUT menu item. The rule used to say “show only if the role is Club Member”. I changed it to “show only if user is logged in”. Fixes Ailsa LOGOUT missing problem. Swapped in new Hosts Instructions and ToR for Treasurer PDF documents received from Ailsa. Changed the Minutes page/post so that it is built dynamically by running a query to get the list of posts with the category of “Minutes”. Also changed the grid layout for the minutes page and renamed all the posts that contained the embedded PDFs so that they have nicer names in the format “Month YY” Updated the Useful Stuff landing page to remove SEPL and clean up other sections. Updated the quiz night image to show the venue and the Christmas tournament image to show the date and venue. Changed the image carousel on home page, member home page and social events page. 22/10/2026 22:00 Added Cody venue to Monthly sessions page Added Quiz Night image to social events carousel on Home page and members home. Also added to the Social Events page with some text I made up. Removed Simon Crewe from Spond User Guide page. Only Simon Mansell now named. Hid the menu item for SEPL as all information is out of date. Did not delete the item just hid it. Did the same for the Feedback and FAPC session comms V3 menu items. Fixed the ToR for secretary menu item and linked content. Now displays correct ToR document. 22/10/26 11:50 Changed home page image carousel for social events to remove summer tournament. Also changed the same carousel on the members home page. Updated copyright on all pages to 2026. Added Hurlands as a venue on the sessions page. Removed Frogmore. Removed Paint with Ailsa and Summer tournament from social events page. Added all minutes files up to Aug 26. Created posts for each file. Restricted access to those posts in the User access area. Added new menu items for each post to the Minutes menu. Tidied up the AGM minutes menu items as requested by Ailsa. 21/10/2026 18:20 Added the colourful pickleballs image to the top of the Home page. 21/10/2026 16:30 Deactivated Slider plugin and tested. Home page working except for top image carousel which is now empty, i.e., no image at all. 20/10/26 19:00 Home page seems to be working again for me but Mark reports not working for him. 20/10/26 15:00 Changed the text for the minutes menu items to all use the format MMM YY as per request from Ailsa. The change has worked but the home page has broken with the usual missing images and text. 18/10/26 Updated the Monthly Sessions page. Added three images of the new schedules to the media library and then added them to the session post. Tested and working.
