Who can play pickleball?
Pickleball is a sport for all ages and skill levels. It can be enjoyed by individuals of varying fitness levels and abilities, making it an inclusive activity suitable for seniors, adults, and children alike.
How can I join the club?
To join Fleet Aces Pickleball Club, get in touch via our contact page for information on joining. New members are always welcome!
Do I need to bring my own equipment?
In some sessions we can provide paddles for beginners. All sessions include balls and nets. If you would like to buy your own equipment, get in touch and we’ll be happy to advise you on what to buy.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing you might wear to play other racket games. Ensure you have flat court shoes to play in, to avoid any ankle injuries.
I've never played before. Can I join in?
If you’re a complete newbie, then thank you for choosing our club. We have sessions for all abilities.

Are there opportunities for coaching & improvement?
You bet! We have sessions specifically for beginners, as well as coaching from other members on many other sessions. We also offer special coaching sessions from external professionals.

Is pickleball suitable for beginners?
Yes, absolutely! Pickleball is a beginner-friendly sport that’s easy to learn but offers plenty of room for growth and improvement. We provide introductory sessions and beginner-friendly play opportunities to help new players get started.
